Ich bin am Lehrstuhl für Geoinformatik der Universität Jena als Doktorand im Rahmen des Indonesisch-Deutschen Scholarship Program (IGSP) DAAD-DIKTI Programms eingetragen. In meiner Promotionsarbeit untersuche ich die hydrologischen Prozesse in verschiedenen Einzugsgebieten im westlichen Teil der Insel Java. Dabei arbeite ich an einer Implementierung des J2000 Modells für die Asiatische Monsunregion. Meine Forschung ist relevant für die Problematik der Überschwemmungen in Jakarta und der Umgebung, da diese durch den gemeinsamen Effekt des Klima- und Landnutzungswandel verstärkt werden.
