The focus of my research comprises the analysis of SAR data for ground subsidence and forest monitoring, furthermore, methodological developments to combine different dataset to create synergy. During my Ph.D. I worked on the derivation of the displacement estimations for ground subsidence phenomena and models for the spatio-temporal distribution of the subsidence from SAR estimations. The focus of my research is to exploit the potentials of multi-sensor synergy for ground deformation monitoring. Currently I am working on forest monitoring by SAR systems. My research emphasis is the analysis of impact of the forest structure to the biomass estimations, as well as synergistic usage of different datasets available for forest monitoring.
