Dr. Manfred Fink

Research associate

I'm working as postgraduate researcher at the Geoinformation Science Group. I am teaching Geographic Information Systems in basic and advanced courses and basic statistical methods in the different programs of the department.

The focus of my research comprises the development, extension and application of ecohydrological models as well as the assimilation of primary data in the field by to designing and operation monitoring programs. The research field bridging both is the development and application of geographic information processing methods to analyse and prepare data for model input is also part of my work. The guiding idea in my research is to describe the major process dynamics explained by the properties of the region.
