The analysis and modelling of spatial data are the focus of my scientific activity. As a GIScientist I am enthusiastic about computer-aided automation, simplification and optimization of processes, the development of algorithms as well as the application of open-source software to solve environmentally relevant challenges.

Key research areas

  • Spatial data analysis, modelling and statistics
  • Landslide science (e.g. landslide mapping with LiDAR derivatives, modelling of landslide susceptibility maps)
