The focus of my research comprises the analysis of SAR data for ground subsidence, forest and agricultural monitoring, furthermore, methodological developments to combine different dataset to create synergy.

During my Ph.D. I worked on the derivation of the displacement estimations for ground subsidence phenomena and models for the spatio-temporal distribution of the subsidence from SAR estimations. The focus of the research is to exploit the potentials of multi-sensor synergy for ground deformation monitoring.

Currently I am working on forest and agricultural monitoring by SAR systems, especially with ESA Copernicus data. My research emphasis is the analysis of impact of the forest structure, crop type and disturbances in the agricultural fields on SAR backscatter, as well as synergistic usage of different Remote Sensing datasets available.
