As a PhD student at the GI Science Group my expertise lies in ecohydrological assessment as well as evaluation of climate and land use change impacts on river basin scale. For this purpose, I develop and apply process based simulation models to predict ecohydrological dynamics under changing environmental conditions, and use these models to evaluate the impacts of changing climate, land use and management on hydrology. In addition, I design and implement hydro-climatic monitoring networks and analyze environmental data sets using geostatistical methods. My regional foci are Brazil and Germany
