Prof. Simon Runkelde, Junior Professor for Social Geography,

We accept empirical theses with a focus on Human Geography, that are primarily based on methods of Qualitative Social Research. For a first brainstorming on topics, please use the regular consultation-hours. Before registering the thesis officially, a research exposé (not less than 2, not more than 5 pages) should be formulated as the basis of a subsequent consultation. The research exposé serves the process of finding and shaping the research topic and does not need to be perfectly consistent. Nevertheless, of course the research exposé should meet scientific standards.
