Ökohydrologische Modellierung

Im Bereich Ökohydrologische Modellierung und Monitoring der Professur für Geoinformatik werden Modelle zur Beschreibung von Wasser- und Stoffhaushalt auf unterschiedlichen räumlichen und thematischen Skalen entwickelt und angewendet. Diese Modelle werden meist im JAMS-Framework implementiert. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt dieser Forschung ist die Erhebung von Primärdaten ergänzend zu existierenden Datensätzen zur Weiterentwicklung, Anwendung und Validierung der in den Modellen beschriebenen Prozesse.

Ergebnisse dieser Arbeiten stellen unter anderem die Entwicklung und Erweiterung der Modellfamilie JAMS- J2000/J2000-S/J2000g zur distributiven Beschreibung der hydrologischen bzw. ökohydrologischen Dynamik in verschiedenen Skalen dar. Weiterer Teil der Entwicklung ist die Ableitung distributiver Modelleinheiten, für die Werkzeuge auf Basis von ARC/INFO und GRASS-GIS implementiert und gepflegt werden. Mit Hilfe dieser Entwicklungen werden Themen wie die Beschreibung des Wasser- und Stoffhaushalts in den unterschiedlichsten Landschaftsräumen, Wassermanagement und Abschätzung der Wirkung von Landnutzungs- und Klimawandel bearbeitet.
